Lexus Dealer Gala
Lexus held their Annual National Dealer Conference for 1,250 people at Chicago’s Buckingham Fountain. The closing dinner gala required three distinctive looks for the cocktail, business and dining areas. Classic Party Rentals provided a total of 75,246 square feet of tents/structures complete with climate control and 69,348 square feet of flooring along with a large selection of rental items.
The guests were greeted by a red carpet entrance surrounded by flood lights which then led into the cocktail area featuring a modern/industrial look. The cocktail tent transitioned into a custom designed area where the new hybrid cars were debuted in a neutral setting before entering the dining tent which was turned into an upscale event venue. The entire 24,272 square feet area was carpeted in granite gray and enveloped with a custom black ceiling liner and black wall drapes. The back of the dining structure led into a 100’x82’ structure, which housed the custom designed 72’x72’ revolving stage.
A tight time schedule, truck access limitations, inclement weather and the unusual space design required Classic to create custom structure pieces and unusual installation procedures along with some last minute equipment additions. Once again Classic was able to overcome these set-backs and create an event that would “Wow” all who attended.
